When and where are meetings held?
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month at 6:3 0pm. Meetings are usually at Saranac Elementary in the large conference room. 250 S Pleasant St, Saranac, MI 48881
How can I participate in the Saranac Elementary PTSO?
Participation is easy and is "free"...i.e. there is no membership fee to join. Attend a monthly meeting or sign up to volunteer on our home page. If you want to stay up to date with happenings, we recommend following our Saranac PTSO page on Facebook as well as joining our PTSO Group. If you can't attend meetings but are able to volunteer for various events, simply fill out the volunteer form or
message us by your best method.
As a member do I have to attend ALL meetings?
No, members do not have to attend all meetings. We love to have as many members as possible but we are like you! We have schedules to juggle. Members have access to agendas and meeting minutes to see what they’ve missed, and can message us via email or social channels with questions, etc.
What if I also have young (not school age) kids?
Many times there are kiddos at our meetings, or on the playground or quietly playing in the hallway. We also value the voices of our students and they are welcome to contribute ideas to our conversations. There are some events that may not as easily allow for younger children, if you're uncertain send us a message.
